Full Stack Software Developer
On Site, Full-time Position

We are currently looking for an experienced, full-time software developer to join our dedicated team.
The Person We Seek
AgTerra is seeking a full-time software developer who will develop user-centric web and mobile applications based upon modern development methodologies.
Candidates should have programming experience in a corporate or small business environment using Microsoft development tools. This is position requires a full stack proficiency which includes front-end development. In addition, with these required proficiencies, preference will be given to those with GIS development experience.
Responsibilities
We require a familiarity of desktop/web application design and implementation along with web and webservice development.
- AgTerra is looking for an individual who is a self-starter and can work to meet deadlines both individually and as part of a larger team in an Agile environment. This person will work with a development team or as an individual contributor to design, implement, test, deploy and document application functionality. They will work with AgTerra product owners and/or external client stakeholders to define requirements and needed functionality and present ideas for system improvements.
Qualifications
We require a familiarity of desktop/web application design and implementation along with web and webservice development. Our specific requirements are:
- BS/BA or greater in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry work experience
- A history of academic excellence or professional success in HTML, C#, JavaScript, Java
- A strong grasp of Microsoft .NET framework, Entity Framework, Microsoft SQL Server and SQLite databases
- Android Development Kit; Swift or Objective C; Xamarin, jQuery, Python are preferred
- Python experience is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of Google Earth, QGIS or ESRI is a big plus
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
